Whether you are interested in a gift voucher for a friend or relative; a course for yourself, or one of the more comprehensive training courses, including the MSA/ARDS racing licence course, the Performance Driving Centre at Anglesey Circuit will have a package to suit all. All our driver and circuit experiences contain a high level of instructor content and track time. The level of instruction and driving time represents extremely good value for money.

Skid Control Courses

Skid Control Car

Our various Skid Control Control Course options are a unique opportunity to have fun whilst offering the opportunity to develop possible accident prevention skills. Using our BMW  Saloon Skid Car we can create any road conditions to test your skills to the limit.

The courses are available 12 months of the year.

Working with our expert Instructors the correct Skid Control skills can be developed at a pace to suit your abilities.

The object of the Skid Control Course is to teach instinctive responses to any loss of control situation thereby improving your ability to stay in control during not only the winter ice and snow, but also in wet or damp conditions. Advanced Car Control Courses and Corporate Team Building Events are also available as a progression from the Skid Control Course.

Skid Car

Skid Control Winter Driving Course

This Course is uniquely designed for you to experience the driving conditions encountered in the Winter ice and snow whilst undergoing tuition to learn new, potentially life saving skills. The Course is a mixture of theory and hands on driving and covers every aspect of driving in slippery conditions.  The finale of the course is a timed slalom event which is a fantastic opportunity to test and hone your new skills in a safe environment.

Each participant on the Course receives a "Certificate of Competency"

Car Control Course

This Course is an extension of the "Skid Control Winter Driving Course". The "Car Control Course" develops your car control skills to the next level. If you are intending to compete in motorsport this is the perfect opportunity to develop your car control. The Course teaches throttle and steering balance control skills and explores the limits of tyre adhesion and vehicle dynamics in a safe and fun environment. This course operates on a one to one basis and is tailored to suit your abilities and objectives.

Corporate Team Building Skid Car Events

The group "Skid Control Course" is a fantastic fun day for groups of up to 12 Delegates.

The Event includes all the learning elements of the "Skid Control Course" with added fun and competive aspects to ensure that all Delegates not only enjoy a fun day out but also learn techniques which can dramatically improve their driving skills. The finale of the Event is a Timed Slalom which encourages the competetive spirit of all the drivers as they race against the clock to win the one of the bespoke engraved Trophies which are supplied for this event.
 
This Event can be tailored to suit your requirements.Each participant receives a Certificate of Skid Car Competency.
